Chapter 2 - Mozambique wouldn’t be complete without memories captured on film. With Inhambane as our base, we set out to discover a country that offers so much, yet asks little in return.
Mozambique is gracious but wild, kind-hearted but mysterious. It’s one of those countries where you could take a photo every single day for the rest of your life, and you would only be able to cover a fraction of its beauty.
To capture what Mozambique means to me, the Mozambican people and the passersby, I teamed up with someone who has the word “adventure” inked on his skin. Joe Fleming @sotallrightnow is a commercial photographer, explorer and adventurer who knows the open African roads better than the inside of his back pockets.
Joe, with his inherent knowledge of African terrains, managed to illustrate Mozambique in a way that words fail to convey.
Our path crossed with another expert of the lens. Mikey Venter @staysalty.imagessa, a name infamous for providing the cover shot for Stab's now iconic documentary, Chasing the Unicorn.
With such a reservoir of creativity confined in a car, traversing the boundless landscapes with nothing but the whispers of the untold stories calling us forward, we knew we were on the brink of creating something eternal
